Welcome to the site that is dedicated to the CMPT 275 Software Engineering I class that I am teaching at Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, BC, Canada.
According to IEEE's definition
Software engineering is the application of a systematic, disciplined, quantifiable approach to the development, operation and maintenance of software, i.e. the application of engineering to software
It is my goal to introduce my student and resarch assistant to experience the full range of activities and research that are related to software engineering. Recently, we have been using the iOS platform for this experience but we are also experienced in development for large scale software systems as well.
